Botond Roska
Botond Roska's lab is interested in how neurons interact in local neuronal networks to compute behaviorally relevant functions, using the mammalian retina as a model system. Combining physiological, molecular, viral and computational approaches to reveal the structure and function of retinal circuits, the Roska lab has identified and precisely characterized several functions of genetically isolated circuits in the retina. Botond Roska has been awarded several prizes including recently the Louis Jeantet prize.
