Kristie Ebi
Professor Kristie L. Ebi, Ph.D., MPH has been conducting research on climate variability and health for 25 years, including understanding sources of vulnerability; estimating current impacts and future health risks; designing adaptation policies and measures to reduce climate-related risks in multi-stressor environments; and quantifying the health co-benefits of mitigation policies. She has worked with multiple countries and cities in Africa, Central America, Europe, Asia, and the Pacific. She was a lead author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) 6th assessment report. She has edited four books on aspects of climate change and has more than 200 peer-reviewed publications.
