Abstract

Since the process of planetary formation tends to produce several planets, it is essential to take into account the interactions between them. Migration leads to the formation of resonance chains, sometimes observed in exoplanetary systems. However, in the long term, once the gas disk has disappeared, planetary systems can become temporarily unstable, leading to mergers and planet ejections, until a new, more stable configuration is reached.
