Abstract
The development of the global economy is coming up against multiple, intertwined planetary limits : global warming, loss of biodiversity, ocean acidification, depletion of natural resources, and so on. Taking responsibility for living in the Anthropocene means considering all natural resources and ecosystems from a sustainable development perspective. How can we choose the right economic instruments at local and international levels to manage the global economy without reaching critical ecological thresholds ?
